“Parents have shared the gift of human life with their children and, through Baptism, have enriched them with a share in God’s own life. They have a duty to nourish it. Their faith, their attitude toward other human beings, and their trust in a loving God strongly influence the development of the child’s faith.” - United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
Our Enrollment Approach
Blessed Family Montessori School recognizes that the parents are the first educators and the primary catechists of their children and that it is their rightful responsibility to find a learning environment that meets the needs of their children. To find a school that is a good fit, Blessed Family believes it is crucial that parents see the learning environments and meet the educators.
While parents are committed to discerning the highest good for their children, Blessed Family Montessori School’s vision is to, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, form an individual who has harmoniously developed their spiritual, physical, social-emotional, and intellectual potentialities. Our educators are tasked with drawing out every facet of a child’s personality and as such they must honor each child’s needs and abilities. Because this formation happens within the context of a healthy learning environment, the school has the rightful responsibility to weigh the needs of each child with the collective good of the individual classroom as well as the overall school community. Blessed Family strives to find a good match between the School Culture and each family in order that there is an overall harmonizing of needs within the School Community.
