CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

LEVELS I - III

In the atrium, the children have an uninterrupted period of time to quietly enter into prayerful work. Through their work in their Montessori environments, students develop concentration and an ability to deeply engage in work. This ability for deep concentration and engagement coupled with uninterrupted time fosters contemplation. The atrium allows the children to develop the rhythm of relationship with God which requires time, space, and a sense of calm to be in silence and be attentivepay attention to the words of God.
